Resources.  We have a variety of resources for all types of child care providers that are available in our resource library.  The CCIS lending library contains books, videos, brochures and audio tapes on topics related to child development, special needs, taxes, professional development, classroom activities, nutrition and health.  We can also link you with local, state and national provider resources.

Referral.  If you are a program Certified by the Department of Public Welfare (Center, GCCH, FCCH) you may choose to be referred to families seeking child care in Centre County.  CCIS provides a free list of child care providers to anyone who is looking for child care and tailors a list based on location, age of child, type of care, etc.  Referrals could benefit to your program by providing:

  • Free advertisement
  • Potential of boosting enrollments
  • Networking opportunities with parents, providers, community agencies

You can be included on the CCIS referral list by calling the CCIS and making a request.

A child care provider survey will be completed by you to describe your program; this is the information the parent will receive on a provider referral list.
